I am gonna talk about the music in the trailer of Man Of Steel. The is sad slow pace music whole out of the trailer and has someone talking serious to make the audience to get serious.
The effects it had on the audience was that the actor (antagonist)had a really sad life he was brought up by different parents in earth when he was born in the planet Krypton. Then his adoptive father dies and the actor was struggling to cope with the loss of his adoptive dad. he works in different places after dads death under false name and at the same time rescues people. The same music would make the audience feel for the character and would want to find out why the character has that much of struggle . Plus the music would make the audience think why they have used that kind pace of music .. the soundtrack the background music makes the movie mysterious and creates a tension when the audience begin to feel whats going to happen because of the music effects.
The editing in the movie is important because the fight scenes are edited and the sound effects for the particular scene is edited that its realistic editing has been done using software programs. the location change (setting change) makes the trailer stand out with settings taking places in earth and outer space. and camera techniques are used to prove a particular point that the directors want to show for example the problems, powers and everything else. The editing has been done to make the actions realistic even though its fake, one of the editing used in the trailer is that the main character shots up to the moon or other planet which is absolutely fake but the editing made it look realistic
A close up camera technique has been used to show the expression of the character and so that the audience can see how the character is feeling towards his action or others action. Close up can also be used to show the struggle of the main characters like used in the trailer above. A long shot has been used to the background of the buildings falling down (being demolished) and at the same time it shows the fear of people in the movie and shows them running away to make the demolition scene realistic and serious.
