Conventional Element
How is it used in
Action/Adventure films?
Protagonist
The protagonist is used to
work against antagonist. The protagonist is the hero of the movie he’s the
main leading character who always usually wins battles/ against the
antagonist usually the protagonist is handsome/pretty attractive and mainly
the innocent person who got streamed into a set of violence. The protagonist acts as the body guard of innocent
people public. He or she has special powers.
Antagonist
The antagonist is used to
make or create problems/conflicts. He’s always the enemy of protagonist and hates
the protagonist badly sometimes the antagonist works with the protagonist but
the protagonist doesn’t know that the other person is evil. Protagonist
creates tension between audiences. In some movies the antagonist might be the
parents or siblings on the antagonist.
The protagonist only cares about himself and always wants to take the
lead of everything.
Other characters
Other character maybe used
as right hands of antagonist or protagonist whom maybe work undercover for
their leader. The other characters are there to make the film seem realistic.
And other characters can be mum dads
ad people who have some sort of relationship with the main characters who advises
others.
Plot
A
plot is needed for the film is succeeded. The action needed to be plotted so
that you can make it interesting; realistic if you plot something then you
have the chance to decide what to do to make things better. The most common
plot is ‘The villain has left the hero for dead, or killed the hero’s
brother, sister, parents, and wife or family pets. Filled with righteous
fury, the hero tools up and embarks on a bloody rampage.’
Locations
The location is set in
interesting places / near beautiful landmarks so that the background looks
engaging and mostly the location is over described in the film the location
helps the movie become successful because the location might be used in the film
cover and if people get attracted to that location then they will buy the
movie and the action or adventures in film really take place in weird places,
which are unbelievable .
Soundtrack
It’s to
give the background music to give the movie affect and give an effect to the
audience so it matches with movie and scene what happening and gives a
mysterious think about the movie.
Camera
Must be
used because the action is happening and you take it from the far, what’s the
point. Protagonist wins the battle and is the favourite at the end of the
movie and has solved the problem in the movie.
Mise-en-Scene
The character and the fight happen or the scene happens of
there. The location can change so it draws the audience attention so that’s
why it’s used in action/adventure movie of
the movie, who wins the battle or the problem against the hero.
Editing
It needs a plot so the movie moves on and an
action/adventure movie needs a plot or otherwise it’s not an action movie.
Fights can happen and the Protagonist wins the battle and is the favourite at
the end of the movie and has solved the problem in the movie.
